The institute’s advisory board includes Ken Ziffren – the founder of the Ziffren Institute, who teaches the law school’s courses on Motion Picture Distribution and Television Special Issues: SVOD/AVOD Platforms in the U.S. – as well as Branca, Cook, Frankel, Goodman, Offer, Passman, Polashuk, and Sloane. In addition, Eisman, Kleinberg, Polashuk, and Ziffren serve on the advisory committee of the UCLA Entertainment Symposium, the leading entertainment law summit that begins its 45th edition on June 2. Frankenheimer is an emeritus member of the symposium’s advisory committee.

“It’s great that our alumni who are leaders in entertainment law are being recognized once again,” says UCLA Law Professor Doug Lichtman, faculty director of the Ziffren Institute. “We’re also pleased to see the many offerings of the Ziffren Institute acknowledged for how well they serve students in preparing for careers in the business – especially after a year in which we had to adapt our classes and programs to respond to changes in the industry.”
