Vivian Ohanian is a Lecturer in Law at the UCLA School of Law and teaches the Corporate/Transactional Practice Seminar. She currently works as Director, Regulatory Relations at PayPal where she oversees regulatory inquiries and examinations. Prior to her current role, she led compliance for Honey and PayPal Shopping, primarily advising business teams on product design and development and managing post-acquisition integration efforts. Ohanian has also held various risk and compliance roles at JPMorgan Chase and SunTrust Banks and has broad experience across consumer protection and financial services law and regulation. Previously, she practiced law at a plaintiff-side litigation firm.

Ohanian received her B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley with Honors in History and her J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.
