Erin Han is the Director of the Judge Rand Schrader Pro Bono Program at UCLA School of Law and will work to expand the pro bono volunteer opportunities available to our students, in collaboration with community partners, throughout their time in law school.  Previously, Erin was an Assistant Director of Career Services at both UCLA Law and UCI Schools of Law, where she counseled students with regard to their career goals in both the public and private sectors.

Erin’s commitment to public interest and pro bono runs deep, with particular expertise in education, youth, and disability law. She was a senior attorney with Legal Aid Chicago and a staff attorney with the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program for many years, providing legal representation to foster and at-risk youth in need of educational advocacy. She has taught education law and legal writing as an adjunct professor at multiple law schools and developed strong pro bono programs with volunteer attorneys.

Erin graduated summa cum laude from Duke University and earned her JD, cum laude, from Boston College Law School, where she was the recipient of the Lewis S. Gurwitz Graduation Award for Commitment to Public Interest Law and the Champy Fellowship for public interest work, as well as Editor-in-Chief of the Boston College Third World Law Journal.

Erin's publications have appeared in numerous ABA publications and Mary Jo Frug's Women & the Law legal textbook, among others.
