About the Instructor: Beth Burke
Beth, who started her career as a corporate and entertainment lawyer, was in the legal department of Sony Pictures Entertainment (“SPE") as a motion pictures attorney and then as the chief attorney for SPE's corporate and international legal group. Following her tenure in the legal department, Beth headed SPE's global Human Resources department, restructuring it to be a business partner and valued resource for SPE's operating divisions. Beth then became the Chief Administrative Officer of SPE, supervising eleven corporate groups. Following her time at SPE, Beth became a consultant and taught several classes, both in law school and college. Beth and her husband have three children (including one set of twins) and Beth attributes her negotiating skills to the continuous debates with her twins.
