Human Rights Challenge


Human Rights, Public Interest Law

In this course, students will apply human-centred design, systems thinking and network building techniques to generate innovative legal solutions to a Human Rights Challenge. Working in interdisciplinary teams, students will learn how to use concepts such as power-mapping, creative questions, user journeys and early prototyping in concert with their professional skills to catalyze new approaches. Students will present their team’s solution to an invited audience at the end of the course.This is a full-time 9-5 course. There will be time allocated for research and collaboration with your team during the 9-5 period, in other words no evening or weekend work will be required. This course is full immersion and very hands-on!
